- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had a tough time with my previous insurance and they wanted to charge nearly double from the previous year. I had made no claims and no changes to my circumstances so the price hike really hacked me off, it was straight up unjust. I was delighted to find Hastings Direct were the cheapest around by almost half my original "happier" price to begin with! On top of that, as of just recently, I've had a tough time with health issues and as a result I had missed a payment. I was blessed enough to speak with a lady who was very understanding, Francesca. When I explained what had gone on and Francesca had spoken with her superior, they were even kind enough to wave the default charge as a gesture of good will.
